Ephraim means “fruitfulness” (Genesis 41:50-52).
Jesus was the fruitfulness.  He was the firstborn of the resurrected; the first fruit (1 Corinthians 15:20, Colossians 1:18, Revelation 1:5).
Jesus was the grain of wheat that died.  And from Him yields a harvest of saved souls (John 12:24).

Ephraim was a type of salvation.

Why was the helmet used as a metaphor for salvation (Ephesians 6:17)?

Salvation speaks of victory!

Jesus triumphed over Satan on the Cross (Colossians 2:15).

Think salvation. Think victory!
