The gist of Isaiah 11:5 is righteousness and faithfulness as God’s belt. Without that belt, everything falls apart.
A durian cake is a durian cake only because of the durian.
The sun is the sun only because of the heat. Without heat, it is no longer the sun.
God is God only because of righteousness and faithfulness. When righteousness and faithfulness are removed, God is no longer God
You get the drift.
To those who love durian, it is the King of fruits, but to those who hate it, it smells like shit (1 Corinthians 1:18). It is exercising the gift of choice.
We read in Psalm 89:14 that God’s throne is founded on righteousness and justice, and that loving-kindness and truth go before Him.
A belt secures or fastens something tightly. The imagery here is that the foundation of righteousness and faithfulness secures the throne of God like how a belt does to the garment.
God’s throne is secured by righteousness and justice, and justice precedes faithfulness.
Faithfulness (Emunah) represents a concept that someone has proven to be trustworthy by deeds. One cannot be trustworthy or faithful without being just.
God the Son came to earth as Jesus the Man to execute righteousness and justice on earth which firmly secured our salvation.
God’s righteousness demands punishment for sin and this demand has been met when God the Son was punished in the body of Jesus the Man.
His punishment was to demonstrate God’s righteousness (Romans 3:21-26). It was justice being carried out.
He is the reason for our being the righteousness of God (2 Corinthians 5:21).
Christ crucified has acquitted us from the punitive demands of divine justice.
By His punishment, justice was done. The sin debt has been fully paid.
It is finished! (John 19:30).

THREE words in English, ONE word in Greek.
Christ Jesus was found guilty for the crimes we have committed and He has served out the due sentence. This is in accordance with God’s principle of representation and identification.
God’s beloved children must be punished for sin and that punishment was meted out on Jesus the Man as our representative. Since we have already been punished, we have met all the righteous or judicious requirements of God and have therefore become righteous; acquitted.
The same crime cannot be punished twice. Since we have been punished for our sins, God will never punish us again. We have the defense of double jeopardy.
Double jeopardy is a procedural defense that prevents an accused person from being tried again on the same, or similar, charges and on the same facts, following a valid acquittal or conviction.
Christ crucified is our valid acquittal!
Christ crucified and His resurrection; our valid acquittal!
If God did not punish sin, the very foundation of His throne would have been shaken and Satan would have succeeded in usurping God’s throne.
Adam was unjust when he handed over the earthly throne to Satan, and Satan was unjust to have gained it by deceit.
The underlying motivation and the very act of Adam and Satan were criminal; high treason.
Therefore, this earthly throne has been shaky right from the start as it was not founded on righteousness and justice.
By His crucifixion, Jesus has established righteousness and justice by being the payment for sin as well as the source of salvation.
He has regained our worldly throne on a righteous foundation; not by deceit or fraud but by legal means.
This gift of salvation is available to both Jews and Gentiles (Matthew 2:2, Romans 15:12).
The dominion of Jesus the Man over the world was founded on righteousness and justice and it can never be shaken.
