In Old Testament scriptures, God the Father provided a description of what the promised Seed would be like in Person and what He would do.
We see from Old Testament passages that the promised Seed would be righteous and faithful.
He was righteous in executing righteousness on earth and faithful to complete the mission of God the Father.
The Apostle Paul said that the Gospel is the power of God for salvation. Wrapped within the Gospel (Jesus Himself) is the righteousness of God (Romans 1:16-17, 2 Corinthians 5:21).
When we declare that we are the righteousness of God in Christ, it is a statement of truth!
In the Old Testament, God revealed through His prophet that the promised Seed would be called “the LORD our Righteousness”.
In 2 Corinthians 5:21, we see that sin was imputed on Jesus to make us the righteousness of God in Him.
The phrase “He very steady leh” is a Singlish expression.
In our context, it would mean “He is indeed awesome!”.
The above is an extract from the book entitled "Her Seed".
