Moab was a type of Christ crucified.
I present Psalm 60:8 in support of the notion.
Moab means washbowl.
A washbowl is a household pot for washing the feet.
It is a figure of speech expressing great contempt. It is nothing more than a contemptible and despicable thing.
Death on the Cross was the most contemptible and despicable thing during the times of the Romans.
Crucifixion was the most contemptible way to die. It was without honor and reserved only for the scumbags of society then.
It was socially detestable to die by crucifixion and particularly offensive to the Jews who saw crucifixion as under a curse (Galatians 3:13).
The prophet Isaiah saw Christ crucified. This is attested by Isaiah 53:3.
