Bible Tone and Intent

Reflection

The Tone of the Bible
Words themselves do not convey the intended meaning completely. The tone with which they are meant to be spoken makes a heaven of difference.
How you perceive God will determine the tone of the Bible.
If you see Him as demanding and angry, the Bible will sound likewise.
But if you see Him as love, those very words become encouraging and uplifting.
Yet, the tone of those written words depend largely on the circumstances in which they are spoken, i.e. context.

The Intent of the Bible
Why was the Bible even written?
I believe the crux of the Bible is to show human beings the reason for their existence.
It is to be loved by God and to love God.
It is the greatest love story ever!

The Love Fight
Standing between the love of God for humans and vice versa is a villain.
That villain obscures the love of God.
And thwarting the insidious plans of the villain is a hero.
He came to destroy the sinister attempts of the villain to drive a wedge between the love of God for men and that of men for God.
