On another dimension, this is an expression of the will of God to extend the salvation to both the Jews and Gentiles.
To state the given, the Hebrews represent the Jews and the Greek, Gentiles.
Hence, the Bible was written first in the Hebrews and followed by the Greek.
It as a foreshadowing of Romans 11.
Salvation would first be offered to the Jews but they rejected it. By their rejection, the Gentiles would be saved.
Then, the Jews would be provoked to jealousy and want the same mercy.
In the end, all who accept Christ Jesus would be saved.
Even the languages that God chose for His written word oozed His will and wisdom!
