This bunch is associated with Matthew 1:23 which speaks of the Virgin Birth of Jesus with the name Immanuel, God with us.
The Virgin birth is mentioned in Isaiah 7:14. It was not just any other baby. It was a baby begotten through a woman who did not know any man intimately.
The first man was blameless when he committed the crime. So the Man to be punished must also be blameless. It is like you have broken a piece of expensive chinaware and you need to reinstate it with one of similar quality and value. But God gave One that is far superior both in quality and value.
Similarly, the first man came into being directly from God the Father. Hence, this Child must likewise be and therefore, the Virgin birth.
It was foretold that the promised Seed shall be called Immanuel, God with us in the Old Testament.
Old Testament scriptures are peppered with “Immanuel”.
Joseph was a success even when he was still a slave simply because of Immanuel, God with him.
