Romans 16:20 speaks of the God of peace; Jehovah Shalom.

Colossians 3:15 encourages us to let Jehovah Shalom be the controlling factor in our hearts to decide and settle questions that arise.

Philippians 4:6-7 teaches us to be anxious for nothing but present all our requests to God and let Him be Jehovah Shalom to guard our hearts and minds.

1 Peter 5:7 admonishes us to cast all our cares, anxieties, worries and concerns on Jesus because He cares for us; in that, He cares about us and He will take care of all things that disturb us. We let Jehovah Shalom take over.

It is interesting to note that in Mark 4:18-19, cares, anxieties, worries, and cares are the weeds that choke the Word.

We can then infer that those things are the weapons Satan uses to distract us from the Word of God.

When we allow God to be the Jehovah Shalom in our lives, He leads us with peace.

We talk to Jesus and ask Him for guidance (James 1:5-6). We let that peace be the deciding factor. When there is a sense of peace, we go with it. But if there is a sense of restraint, we back away from it. Jehovah Shalom rules! He rocks!
