We reinforce the victory that Christ crucified has wrought for us by speaking the Word of God.
We can see the application of this in the wilderness temptation of Jesus (Matthew 4:1-11, Luke 4:1-13).
When Jesus battled the tempter in His earthly walk, He secured victory by saying, “It is written”.
When the Lord crushed the devil on the Cross, He said “It is finished!” (John 19:30)
Today, we reinforce our victory by saying “Amen” to what God said Jesus has accomplished for us (2 Corinthians 1:20).
