Gospel by the Star

The Magi saw the “Star” and knew that Jesus, the King of the Jews had been born (Matthew 2:2).

God showed Abraham the stars and asked him to count them (Genesis 15:5).
The word “count” can also mean recount as in telling a story. Hence, God told Abraham the story of the Gospel by the stars in the sky.
There are many who are for this as there are against it.
My stand is that since the Magi could tell by the star that Jesus was born, Abraham could also have seen the Gospel by the star.
Going by this line of reasoning, the “Star” in Numbers 24:17 refers to the promised Son, Who is Jesus the Christ.



Indeed, Jesus is the Star, as in a celebrity.
